Giovanni Francesco Casucci is specialised in intellectual property litigation and licensing, and has served as a partner in several international law firms, advising both public and private sector entities. Since 2001, he has been an external member of the Faculty for MBA programmes at MIP–Politecnico di Milano, where he lectures on intellectual property management.
Since 2008, he has also served as Co‑Director at the Politecnico di Milano for the qualification courses for Patent and Trademark Attorneys and for continuing professional education in IP matters, and, since 2010, as Co‑Director of the international programme EPL – European Patent Litigation, one of the most renowned courses in Europe. He is the author of numerous publications and is frequently invited as a speaker at international conferences and events. He serves as Vice‑President of LES Italy and of the Chamber of Industrial Lawyers, and is a member of the advisory board of EPLAW. As of 1 January 2026, he has been included in the PMAC list of Neutrals as an Arbitrator for patent disputes. In addition to his native Italian, he is fluent in French and English.
