Roberto Mastroianni

Of Counsel

Former Judge and President of Chamber of the General Court of the European Union in Luxembourg from 2019 to 2025. His appointment strengthens the firm’s positioning in the areas of EU law and competition law, fields in which he brings the expertise gained at the highest levels of European judicial activity and public administration, where he served as Legal Adviser for Legislative Affairs at the Presidency of the Council of Ministers.

Over the course of his career, Prof. Mastroianni has also developed a distinctive expertise in the regulation of the Media and TMT sectors, with particular focus on digital single market dynamics and antitrust regulation as applied to technology platforms. In parallel with his role as Full Professor at the University of Naples Federico II, his contribution enables GA-Alliance to assist clients in cross-border disputes and complex proceedings, integrating the perspective of a judicial decision-maker with strategic advisory services.
